Is it possible that the $600 that couples are about to receive from the IRS will save our economy?

I believe that the current troubles in our economy have been caused by greedy Petroleum companies and they are the ones that are driving everything to recession. The $600 will give some stimulus to the economy but will it be enough? Is it possible that the $600 that couples are about to receive from the IRS will save our economy?
The 600 for individuals and the 1200 for couples will help, but it will not be enough. Bills are climbing, mortgages are going up, inflation keeps rising. The government would need to do this every quarter for it to make any real difference. Is it possible that the $600 that couples are about to receive from the IRS will save our economy?
No. The problems are more deep-rooted than that. Moreover, given the worsening of the economic situation since the stimulus package was announced, even more recipients are likely to save the money or use it to reduce debt rather than spend it on goods and services, which defeats the whole objective of the measure
Not a chance. The average person spent more than 600 on that loan.
It worked when Bush did it before (remember this is the second time. it was less money then) but the fundamentals of the economy were greater then. Since they are financing the money with the deficit spending, I would say all its going to do cause inflation, buy the economy about a month, like if you lost your job and you cash advanced on your credit card to pay the rent, and deflate the currency a little more, bringing us closer to the edge.
