How do you feel about interracial couples?

This question is for persons of European ancestry (whites in particular). How would you feel If your son or daughter was dating a black person? Be honest, I am black and my girlfriend is white but I feel sometimes that her parents would rather her date someone her own race. She denies it. Please no racism, and explain why you would or would not mind. How do you feel about interracial couples?
I have a 17 year old son. If he were to start dating a black girl, I'd have no problem with it at all. I judge people by their actions, personality and attitude. Not by the color of their skin. How do you feel about interracial couples?
One of my ex's was sri lankin (my highschool love) we were dating from year 8 up until yr 10.

Im of Maltese descent, my parents are strict and very fussy with the types of boys who i bring home to meet them. The interracial fact did not even occur to me, but what did was the bad boy streak he had. He looked like a trouble maker and sometimes brought it out in our relationship.

I brought reluctantly brought him home, my parents loved him! the fact he was darker didnt even occur to them what did was how much he knew me, as they saw how in love we were considering 2 years together. Unfortunatly the reason it ended was from bad friends who rubbed off on him, (i didn't end it because of his ethnicity, and never would)

Her parents should be accepting of 'you' not your ethnicity/race, if they were truly good parents they wouldn't even notice this, setting an example for their children in the process.
I have a tendency to stare at interracial couples. I don't mean to be rude. It's just interesting to see. My parents are different races, and my wife is also a different race. So mixed race is pretty much all I know. I grew up in a world where I was the oddball, and now I see more and more people like me. And don't worry about your girlfriend. Girls' parents will always come up with reasons for not wanting you to date their daughter. If it's not race, it will be something else. You cannot expect everyone to be accepting and tolerate, but you also do not have to put up with rudeness.
If I had a son or daughter who wanted to date someone of a different race, I wouldn't mind at all. It would be the same as dating someone of the same race. Everyone is equal and people shouldn't separate themselves because of their race.
im british.. not white though. haha but i wanted to answer this.

i think it depends on whether the couple looks cute together or not. thats a general rule for every couple though, haha. my fave famous interracial couple is Iman and David Bowie.

im for ittt%26lt;3.
i dont feel one way or the other. i mean i view them the same way i do other couples. some people feel differently tho, my dad for example says that he wouldnt disaprove if i dated a white guy but would be happier if he were black. i personally dont understand that
you dont know what they are really thinking as you cannot read minds. you are projecting your own feelings onto them. dont do it. i would let my daughter marry anyone she wants too. its not my marriage.
I love my Cuban boyfriend, so I guess I love interracial relationships?!?
I guess it ok. Depend on how that person see that person. Am a black female and I wouldn't mind dating or marring a Korean or Japanese guy :)
I don't think about them. They are two people who have chosen to be together. I mind my business..What interracial couples do is not my business.
I'm all for it. my bf is white. I'm african-american. I think interracial couples are cute.
As a parent it would only matter that they loved each other. As long as they are happy with each other I would be also.
Some people dislike it. Some approve it.
i have a black bf and my parents aren't thrilled but it's my life.
I'm the product of one, so no problems.
I don't agree with it. Everyone should stick to their own race.

and congratulations on living up to the stereotype of a black man who chases white women. I guess you REALLY want your kids to have light skin and ';good'; hair, huh?
