My SO and I do not and probablly will not have children together. Most traditions seem to revolve around 'family' and children. We've both been married and had traditions with our spouses, but now want to start some new ones of our own. Anyone have any ideas? Somethings that you do that are fun and a little different? What are some Creative fun traditions for couples?
at Christmas buy each other little trinkets for your stocking, and make a big fun deal of 'opening' your stockings. Have the tradition of always always having a midnight kiss on New Year's Eve. Have a wedding anniversary tradition such as a certain place to go on a date. Have a once a year picnic at the same place every summer and take photos each year to keep in a photo book. What are some Creative fun traditions for couples?
One thing, that my brother did for his girlfriend:
He got a special bouquet of roses made, (all of the roses were real, except for one) and he put a note on it. The note said: ';I will love you 'till the last rose dies.';SO that one rose would never die.(this is MY favorite)
That could be for any occasion.
I know a couple, on every new years, they buy each other fireworks and wrap them in wrapping paper and exchange gifts. But instead of unwrapping them, they just put a flame to them, so instead of seeing what the firework box looks like(or the name of it, which gives you an idea of what it will look like) it is always a surprise.
It's a tradition for my parents to, on every christmas, draw each other.
You know, on a sheet of paper with a pencil(duh) but anyways that's one of their Christmas gifts to each other.
It's always fun to make your own traditions. Usually something just happens and you just continue doing it! :D
Hope I helped!!
