How do I get started with a couples workout?

I want to start working out with my wife. I am a pretty big guy (300+ lb bench, etc.) and I have an exercise room in my house that I use 4 to 5 days a week. Unfortunately, I haven't had a training partner in years, and frankly, don't know how to work out with another person. Another person who will be using a fraction of the weight that I use. Any suggestions as to how I could accomplish this AND get a good workout AND make my wife happy that we are spending some time together?How do I get started with a couples workout?
My fiance and I work out together all the time. We run together, and when we lift weights, we just add or subtract weigh according to who is on the machine. Since you have an exercise room in your house, might I suggest showing your wife how to properly use the equipment first, then spot her until you know she is using good form. Once you feel comfortable that she knows what she is doing, you can seperate and do your workout while she does hers, using different machines. You will be working out together since you are in the same room, but you will be getting a workout.How do I get started with a couples workout?
