What would be good matching tattoos for couples?

my boyfriend and i want to get matching tattoos . or something that completes the other. such as lock and key. any idea? What would be good matching tattoos for couples?
Ohhhh matching tattoos, such a dilemma. My boyfriend in high school really wanted to get matching tattoos... then we broke up a couple months later. Dodged THAT bullet! haha.

I realize that the idea of matching tattoos are cute and romantic... But just make sure you realllly think about it before you take the plunge. A tattoo is forever (sometimes, a boyfriend is not).

But, if you've really thought it out and you know you'll be with him forever here are some cool ideas:

-Half a heart on the side of your rib, like below your armpit. (It's cute and when you hug your ';heart'; will be complete. It's also a good choice because it's in a very discrete place, so if you ever do break-it off it's not too noticeable. It's also a good location for future job interviews =]

-Another fun idea is maybe a simple number that is important to you both. For example, my current boyfriend of six years and I started dating on January 10. So 10 has always just kind of been ';our number';. You could place it on your wrist, or anywhere really.

-Lyrics to ';your song'; Another simple idea.

-A cool quote in another language like Victoria and David have.鈥淚 am my beloved鈥檚, my beloved is mine鈥欌€?in Hebrew.

-If you're both really into music I think one of the coolest ideas for couple's tatts is to have the girl get the treble clef and the boy get the bass clef inked in the same location. It's something cute together, but also cute if you should ever break up.

I think the most important thing here is to remember to get something that means something to you individually as well as to you as a couple. Hope I've given you some ideas, or some ideas to jump start better ideas! Good luck! =]What would be good matching tattoos for couples?
First off, I am not a big fan of couple tattoos. What if you break up, ya know? But it is your body.

So i would say maybe a tattoo based around an infinity symbol. Like get the infinity symbol and elaborate on it. Incorporate it with a different picture. Maybe like a heart beside the infinity symbol? To symbolize forever love. Maybe you could write out ';forever love'; and connect the 'f' and the 'e' at the end of love with an infinity symbol and a heart on top. I just drew it out and it looks legit.

You could also just get the word 'love' tattooed on you so it could symbolize you and your boyfriend or something else if you break up. (stay away from the name)

You could get the quote 'and the lion fell in love with the lamb' with an apple or heart around it.

You could get a simple heart on the wrist. Not just your normal heart, but elaborate a little bit on it.

You could get a celtic knot. It symbolizes eternity. A never ending thing.

I have never been a fan of getting tattoos of friends lovers etc.. But, I am getting one. HAHA! My absolute best friend and i are going together to get it. We are both getting a tiny star behind our ear or the first letter of each other's name. We haven't decided that yet but we have been wonderful friends for 3 years. We do everything together and we are getting it to remember what we had/have. No matter if we break up, we will always remember what it used to be.

HOPE THIS HELPS! :) GOOD LUCK TO YOU! :)
i mean im all for the idea of getting tattoos but not something like that

(no offense) because what happens when/if you guys break up just sayin. not sayin that you will break up

but if you do anyways

a lock and a key or half of a heart on each of you that way when you are together you can put them together

but idk

it also depends on where you get it
How about a pair of pants with a split in them. Cause thats what happens when the girl wants matching tats. Splitsville honey. Dont fight it you know you're the one who wants that.
