Lets say a muslim couple have 3 kids and doesn't want to have anymore, what form of birth control will they be using? I am willing to hear from older people mostly but anyone is welcomed. Please don't provide your own opinion but real facts only.
And if birth control is haram according to you, please don't bother answering
Everybody else is welcomed to answerWhat is the most commonly used birth control among muslim couples?
Withdrawals
Condoms
Pills
IUD
etcWhat is the most commonly used birth control among muslim couples?
Condoms
The withdrawal method does not work 99% of the time.

Birth control pills
Any form of birth control is OK except sterilization
mintee.. that was a good one. LMAO
Abstinence!!!
Try the birth control shot, get an IUD or take the pill, there are so many options !i
condoms are the best but some men are dumbasses and dont wear them. Btw pulling out never works
its called \
';Pull and Pray'; method.. loooooooooolz
Like there are statistics on that!
I've been told in the Arab world the IUD is quite common, which interesting because it is the most ify Islamically. An IUD doesn't necessarily prevent impregnation, but prevents (in most cases) implantation of the fertilized ovum in the lining of the uterus. Thus, it is actually an abortifacient. In any case, I don't think there is a preferred method for Muslim couples. The Islamic position is that birth control is disliked if not forbidden, as Muhammad taught in the following hadith:
Sahih Bukhari V9 #506 wrote:
That during the battle with Bani Al-Mustaliq they (Muslims) captured some females and intended to have sexual relation with them without impregnating them. So they asked the Prophet about coitus interrupt us. The Prophet said, ';It is better that you should not do it, for Allah has written whom He is going to create till the Day of Resurrection.'; Qaza'a said, ';I heard Abu Sa'id saying that the Prophet said, 'No soul is ordained to be created but Allah will create it.';
EDIT: Truth hurts, doesn't it? Aren't you people ashamed of yourselves for going against the teachings of the Prophet? Basically by your actions you are saying his teaching here is wrong and that there is a way to prevent souls from being born. Shame, shame!
The natural cycle is the best way.
Always mark on calender your date of period.
The next period comes app. 28 days later. Mark that.
U can safely have sex for 10 days before your next period.
Mark that on calender too.
To take it out before it comes. Hope you understand.

A clue. 250 - 300 babies are born per minute in the world, but most acts of intercourse do not result in fertilization. How many couples are making love at any one time in the world?

A lot, I'm guessing since it is Valentine's Day.
Married or single?
I'll take a wild guess and say:
Newly married 10,000
Married (more than two years) 150
Single and dating 13,500,000
You can add my hand and me to this statistic.....

check the clock ,
we know how many get born every minute ,
plus abortions ,
add condoms sales to that
double the figure for all of those who
screw off the record
.and we get a rough idea
well, probably about 2 billion right NOW!

How do couples deal with anger in marriage especially coming from the wife?
what can one do when the wife gets too angry so fast and even become violent such that discussing marriage issues become very hard. The husband does not and cannot fight her back. Secondly, she makes statements that hurt so much but doesnt even realize it and feels that the husband as a man should be able to handle such harsh statements and not her. Thirdly, she makes more money than the husband and therefore feels that the husband is using her.How do couples deal with anger in marriage especially coming from the wife?
That ';woman'; is de-masculinating her husband and doesn't deserve to married in the first place. I think what she needs is an emotional punching bag and her husband has become one. If I were the man.....I would leave.....period. There are plenty of women out there who would appreciate a husband that cares. The woman described here doesn't need anyone, apparently. She will die a lonely old woman at the rate she is going. I feel sorry for her.....but I feel more sorry for the husband. How do couples deal with anger in marriage especially coming from the wife?
After all answers to your question are said and done, ultimately the decision is yours. However, make it carefully. Go back in your mind to when you fell in love with her. Remember what drew you to each other. After being married for 25 years, I've found I don't control how my wife behaves, but I do control how I react. As hard as it might be sometimes, I remember the vow I took and the fact that I love her regardless of how she might treat me sometimes, ';for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part';. I remember earlier in our marriage, the worse she treated me the better I treated her, not out of spite but remembering my commitment to love her. I truly don't deserve my wife even when I feel she treats me bad sometimes. My vow never said ';I'll love you only until you stop treating me good';. Marriage is work. You have to talk through things and one of the hardest parts, especially as a man, is that you can't expect your partner to change anything until you yourself show a willingness and work on changing some things yourself. If you want it to work, you'll give until it hurts and then, give some more. Remember true love is not about what you receive but about what you give. That's why so many marriages fail nowadays, divorce rates are so high, and so many children grow up without both a mother and a father working together to give them love and grow them and teaching them about commitment and how to make a marriage work. Commitment ends up meaning nothing. Ultimately the choice is yours. I hope you make the right one.
get out of the marriage... this is NOT marriage. you understand marriage is love, understanding, respect, listening... all of these things are not in your marriage, so what are you waiting for? for her to change? well... she hasn't so far, and I guarantee she won't any time soon. if she doesn't recognize her own actions and how they destroy you, then you telling her won't make her see it. you can't control her, but you can control your environment... this is abuse and you need to leave.
I'd say the husband needs to find a new wife who is actually worth the air he breathes...
Let's examine this for a second, behind anger is frustration, deep seeded, unresolved issues. When your wife becomes spitting angry, she is really saying this...You are not hearing me, I need to make you see where I am coming from. That isn't anger, its frustration talking. Her comments come off as angry, when in fact she is telling you, we have issues that need to be resolved. Her anger comes in if she feels she is not being taken seriously, or is getting a half answer, condescended, when all she really wants is for both of you to sit and discuss your issues, or hers.
The book, the ';dance of anger'; is one you need to read. It talks about how to relate to your spouse, girlfriend, so you don't get into a vicious cycle of arguing, rather you end up solving your issues together peacefully.
The money issue is also one of her feeling her oats. Money is independence to a woman, married or not, and the perceived threat of losing that scares her. Let her know you understand what that means to her, that you are not using her, and try having three accounts, one that is all hers, one that is both of yours, and one for either of you should you need it, making notes of what gets taken out, and when, what for, ETC. That will make her feel more at ease, show you are sincere. Good Luck.

Do married couples have to file taxes together?
I am newly married and not sure how this works. Are my husband and I required to file our income taxes together?Do married couples have to file taxes together?
Hi Mommy: If you and your new husband live together you have two choices MFJ or MFS (joint or separate). If you were married and did not live together for the last 6 months of the year, you can be considered single for tax purposes and then the Head of Household would be an option. Very seldom does MFS benefit you financially. If you have not changed your name on your Social Security card make sure you use the name that is on the card when you file. Congrats on married life.
This advice was prepared based on our understanding of the tax law in effect at the time it was written as it applies to the facts that you provided. Click on my profile to read more.

Master Tax AdvisorDo married couples have to file taxes together?
As the accountant says, you can file jointly or separately. However, this decision has a lot of impact on the amount of taxes you'll owe.
The vast majority of married couples are much better off filing jointly. That's because you lose access to a number of tax breaks if you file separately. Also, in filing separately, you have to cooperate closely -- for example, both of you must itemize or neither of you get to.
In fact, the main reason for filing separately are issues of trust or truthfulness -- such as if you suspect your husband is cheating on taxes, and do not want to be implicated.
To be fair, there are a very small number of cases where filing separately also makes your tax bill lower. You can, if you don't mind going to the trouble, figure your taxes both ways (jointly and separately) to compare. My wife and I do this every year, and of course every year filing jointly wins by a landslide.
You can file married, filing seperately, but..if you have kids, you can claim head of household, file jointly and mainly your tax return would be more back filing married and not seperately. I married last year, we have one kid to claim and went from 1,000.00 back single to 3000.00 jointly...You can go on turbo tax online and do an estimate without really sending it, h and r block also allows that option...put your information in there as married and all the wages, then do it single and see what the difference in the return is.
No, they do not. However you should run your returns both ways and see which is best. If you use married, filing seperate, you forfeit your EIC %26amp; CTC and education credits and yada. If one or the other owes offset money simply include a form 8379 aka Injured Spouse Allocation with your return to protect the refund due the one who owes no offset.
hiiiiieeeee...
no you can file married filing seprate.. its usually better file jointly unless you both have alot to itemize...
No, that's why there's a box that says Married Filing Jointly and another that says Married Filing Separately.sunscreen

How long does the honeymoon stage last in married couples?
I just want to know how long it lasts. Does making love happen everyday? If yes, when does it change? How long does the honeymoon stage last in married couples?
The honeymoon ends when reality sets in. Kids, mortgage, bills, work, all play a part. The key is to always make an effort to keep things interesting in and out of the bedroom. Marriage is what you make it.. it is not a given. How long does the honeymoon stage last in married couples?
i think it only ends if you let it and i don't think it has anything to do with lovemaking.
Depends on the couple. Anywhere from 1 day to a few years. And no, you don't necessarily have sex every day.

Is it true that in Kish Island, Iran married couples should book or live in separate hotels?
Me and my husband are planning to have a vacation in Kish, Iran but someone told us that we should sleep in separate hotels? What should we do? Is there any documents needed?
Should we bring our marriage certificate with us if we go to Kish?Is it true that in Kish Island, Iran married couples should book or live in separate hotels?
Here in Iran Hotels won't book passengers as boyfriends and girlfriends (Unmarried) together in the same room. Boyfriends and girlfriends should live in seperate rooms. This related to our culture and Islamic rules. So Iranian couples should have their ID cards (This isn't necessary to have marriage certificate) for booking a Hotel everywhere in Iran.
I don't know is there a special rule for foreign passengers who want to book or live in Iran hotels or not. Just having your husband and your ID cards should be enough.

I haven't been to Kish, but I've been to Mashad and the hotel my husband and I were in didn't ask us for our marriage license. You should call your hotel ahead of time just to be sure. Better safe than sorry. I seriously doubt you will have to stay in separate hotels, you are married after all. make sure you take your passports though, you'll probably need them to check in.

Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?
they always have the option for a divorce....why this sacred union is no more sacred to today's youth .Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?
That is such a generalisation. I think it is rather unfair of you to state it actually. I am currently going through divorce, when I got married, I did not believe in divorce, and to this very day I still don't want a divorce. My husband however does, and I can not force him to stay married to me. Some people, both young and older just don't see marriage as special these days, I believe the court system makes it too easy for couples to get divorced, I believe all couples should have to undergo marriage counselling before applying for a divorce (of course that is dependant on the circumstances of that marriage).
Divorce is painful, I would not wish this upon anyone. So perhaps a re-phrase of your question is in order. Why some couples get married with an option that if marriage will not work?
It's all because the age-old attitude to marriage has changed. It's sanctity has, to a great extent ,evaporated. It's now more like a co-habitation than a made-for-each other kind of eternal bond, only to be dissolved by death. So far as options are concerned, it has definitely grown bigger and bigger. It's not entirely bad. It has provided greater freedom and personal space between relationships. Today's youth is more open to change and readily goes for experiments. They are also weighing the profit %26amp; loss meticulously and don't attach moral-immoral values to a great extent.
Nowadays dating is very popular before marriage, most of the youth before marriage itself they spent together frequently...Very often dating, eats away the charm, while entering into their marriage life, they become bored. They are not interestingly live together... and moreover their earning makes them self reliant鈥?they need not bother and also expect anything from their partners about their future requirements鈥?If someone interfere others personal activities they don鈥檛 tolerate or bear it鈥?At that stage their ego overtakes and they suddenly take a hasty decision (Divorce).
i've seen many couples, who think of cutting off with each other so easily....option of divorce is just like a small thing for them....the sacred bound of love, i.e. marriage, is no longer sacred....infact, i feel bad about the ppl who just take divorce for granted....no doubt, divorce is the only option left for some cases but it should not be made as a first option in the relations which are not working good.....
Some may find Will Smith's philosophy on marriage a little lackluster in the romance department but in a country where divorce rates are skyrocketing at the same speed as gas prices, I can't help but wonder if he and Jada may have a good thing going on.
Because the trust levels %26amp; the desire to work on a relationship has gone down. selfishness %26amp; ego centric behaviour has risen. No one wants to tolerate anymore %26amp; everyone wants a honeymoon to go on forever.
Because they don't love each other. The reason behind their marriage is only physical demand not the mental demand.
Because they grew up in or with a friend who lived in dysfunctional home and /not/ want that to happen to them.

Because first impressions arent always real impressions. Especially in an arranged marriage setting, u put ur best foot fwd. It's speed dating. Then u marry n live life. Life has it's ups n downs, n many couples dont adequately talk about how they'll handle the downs. Then it's not tolerated...by the other. Plus, many who live in joint families have in-law interference, and then the spouse chooses the parent, over their sig other. Blood wins over water, n there's a split. Many of today's youth see many reasons couples shouldnt've been married in the first place, n many other situations where it seems ppl were going through motions, so they want a safety net...it's just a precaution so they, nor their future kids will suffer.

this is a bad idea, people talk you know! just don't do it! if it is still bothering you make a list of pros and cons and then decide! good luck xIs two couples doing lovemaking at the same time same place interesting?
If you're into that kind of thing then sure, but make sure all four individuals are comfortable with it.
this is absolutely stupid thing . this is too bad.

Why do couples get back together after they break up?
I see it quite often so I'd like to know what people think. Why do couples break up and then get back together after a month or you know, being apart for some time? Why do couples get back together after they break up?
They break up to screw around with other people and then they realize how much they THINK they miss each other and get back together just to do it all over again. Why do couples get back together after they break up?
They break up because they cant and dont want to deal with the problems in the relationship. Then they go around looking for something better, get restless, and think hey, maybe I can work on the problems. Sometimes the relationships can last, but sometimes when you get back together you realize why you broke up in the first place.
I did the break up and get back together thing when I was younger, immature, and didn't know how to deal with problems.
Same reason people leave 1 company to go do the same job at another company, then come back to the first company in 6 months. Because it's all the same b.s. with relationships, just different people.
Job hunting is like dating, everyone dresses their best, acts politely, puts on a show, both sides do it, employers and job candidates. Then when you land the job, you get tired of the grind every day, it's always the same, you get a little raise each year and you get bored.
Same with relationships, the fun phase lasts a few months then you get serious or get married and it becomes a boring grind. You have to look forward to small moments of joy.
People break up because they think there's something better, this relationship is stale, but then after they get a new person and it gets boring all over again, they realize that the original relationship was probably better anyway.
Because we like to believe that we can always make it work ';this time around';. When you break up, you have ended something that meant a lot to you at some time or another. Getting back together is like having a clean slate....starting fresh. It's appealing to many people, and every good relationship deserves a second chance, doesn't it?
When your apart from someone that's when you realize the severity of your relationship. You realize that you truly care about the person and want to work things out.
Unresolved issues and feelings.
They do because they WANT to.

What are your thoughts on big height differences in couples?
I'm 5'9'; and my girlfriend is 6'2.'; We seem to get along really good and, to be honest, I'm fine with the height difference. I know this is unusual, and people have made comments, do you see any potential issues arising in the future? What are your thoughts on big height differences in couples?
I have no problem with someones height. The range of height of people I've liked have been 5ft3 to 6ft5 lol (I'm 5ft8)
I do however PREFER that they be around my height. What are your thoughts on big height differences in couples?
Truthfullly, I think it's really weird. I'm probably one of those people that stare at you when you're walking by. I'm sure your girlfriend looks hot being so tall but I think you probably look ridiculous being so small. 5'9'; is short to me to begin with. Next to someone 6'2'; you probably look like a shrimp. Good luck with that. I would probably try and find yourself a girl 5'6'; or so though.
No one of any intelligence makes comments about height differences...I am 6'2, dated a gal who was 6'4'; for a long period in college. No one seemed to care, and neither she nor I did...and that is what counts...that she nor I cared! I didn't date her for other people....I dated her for myself!
No problem... Enjoy your ';features';... Tall ladies always attract a lot of attention, especially if she wears very HIGH HEELS as well... Don't believe these individuals that probably tell her that she shouldn't do so, and to wear flats... Flats do s.f.a., nada, nil, nothing for ladies..
And in fact, flats do nothing for me either.. I'm a long time cross dresser and wouldn't be seen dead OUT OF HIGH HEELS..
Rachelle In High Heels.
At first, I just think, whoa! But I instantly snap out of it! Height isn't important. I'm sure you've heard this soooo many times, but it's true: what's inside is what matters. :)!
Nothing wrong with it. My mother in-law is 4'11';, my father in-law is 6'1, they've never had any issues with it.
ahah nahh I'm 6'2 as well. I used to be ashamed of my height but then i learned to embrace it haha so yeah i c no problem
usually the males are expected to be taller than the girls..
but it doesnt matter really...

What are some good sites to look to meet couples?
Hi, I'm a bisexual androgyne male and I've been trying to look for guys and girls to start getting a possible mmf or mmff poly relationship started as I'm attracted to bisexuals and both genders and would like to try a relationship style of this kind. I have recently been having trouble and I was wondering where I could possibly look instead of tying to look for a single person at a time as I have been doing for some time; to possibly look for couples. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you. What are some good sites to look to meet couples?

For teen couples, how often do you hang out with your boyfriend or girlfriend one on one?
I know a few couples who hang out everyday after school and every weekend and I think that's way to much.
But, I see my boyfriend during school and every few Saturdays.

How come when I see White girl / Asian guy couples the girls are always gorgeous?
Is it because Asian guys are picky about the look of girls they date or is it because only beautiful White girls like Asian guys ?How come when I see White girl / Asian guy couples the girls are always gorgeous?
Asians guys are picky coz even in the olden days until now, they only marry beautiful and young girls in India, a 50 year old guy with a 20 years old girl. But I dont know about chinese and that but what I do know that they like girls with beautiful eyes. How come when I see White girl / Asian guy couples the girls are always gorgeous?
because unlike asian girls who just go out with ANY white guy they see, asian guys look at their personalities first and ones that are pretty.

Why is it that Gay men Couples are Victimized more than Lesbian Couples?
There seem to be more reported cases of vicitimization and abuse towards gay men and gay men couples than lesbians and lesbian couples.
Why do you think this is?Why is it that Gay men Couples are Victimized more than Lesbian Couples?
I think of gay men as men trying to be women. I have to admit that it makes a straight male (like myself) pretty uncomfortable; especially with all the drag queens and transsexuals out there who dress themselves up to appear to be something else. The reason it is so hard for me to accept gay guys is because it threatens my love life. What if I mistake a transsexual for being a women? How would I react when I had found out? I'd have to say that it could really drive a straight guy crazy; especially for those who believe they're in a secret-free relationship (see the movie ';Cover'; and you'll know what I'm talking about). I'm not so sure how straight women feel about lesbians, but it's a lot easier to pull off a male to female, than a female to male! LOL. Plus women have been made icons of sexuality by men: through video, fashion, photography etc. - so most people (even women) will probably see a woman's figure whenever they hear that three-letter word. I mean think for a second: have you ever heard a woman say ';I'm tapping into my masculine side?'; I haven't. But I have heard of men saying they had a feminine side... And why is it that some women try to make guys something they are not? Painting his fingers? Having him play dress-up?? LOL (nothing personal). But put simply: women try to be more open with sex, while men try to claim them by fulfilling their wishes. Perhaps men should try being less easy to possess, but adoration makes us all do crazy things. Why is it that Gay men Couples are Victimized more than Lesbian Couples?
Typically guys that are harassing gay guys do it for the simple reason their homophobes or they are trying to work off their macho . Women are picked on less do to the fact men have this thinking two women together is hot and the thought about fighting / victimizing with females socially is not correct

I pay 39.95/mo for a company that offers an alternative to insurance.
In that I get dental, vision, prescription, chirpractic, physician, ancilarry services, hospital advocacy, nurseline, and podiatry services.
Its worth it! I have gotten tons of discoutns on designer sunglasses as well being through them.

What sort of difficlties do 14 year old pregnant couples face?
I'm writing a book and was wondering, what sort of difficlties do 14 year old pregnant couples face? What sort of difficlties do 14 year old pregnant couples face?
I think that it's great that you are writing this book, and congrats to you!
Here's a few:
1. Great financial difficulties, most states won't allow 14 yr olds to work so how can they possible support a baby.
2. A lot of couples that young fight with the option on whether to abort the baby/adoption/raise the child.
3. Giving up your life, and not being able to live your teenage/young adulthood years.
4. Putting extra strain on your parents....when your 14 yours parents will utlimately be the ones providing for your child.
5. Lack and loss of education.
Hope this helps! What sort of difficlties do 14 year old pregnant couples face?
Financial, Responsibilities of taking care of the baby and managing studies, the gossips of friends and relatives, what you gonna tell the baby when he or she asks about why age diff is so close in the future?
Most teen couples have no choice but to get on Wel-fare, government aid. Also, teen parents can have a lot of depression issues, or even resort to drugs because of missing out on their young teen experiences. It could be a huge burden to have to take on. Oh and this quote was taken from a site i'm going to give a link to for you: ';One study found their suicide rate to be seven times that of non-mothers'; %26lt;-- i found that to be interesting, i'd never heard that.
http://ssw.unc.edu/fcrp/Cspn/vol1_no1/te鈥?/a>
wtf would i get a thumbs down for. giving information that was asked? oh well, probably an angry pregnant teen. LOL All that i said was true, whether people like it or not.
I'm guessing they would face quite difficult financial problems.
And being able to continue education whilst being a parent would be pretty hard, if not impossible.
sadly, many 14yearold pregnant ppl are out there today.
there are many difficulties, the most obvious being:
1. Financial difficulties
2. Having more responsiblity than you are ready for
3. dumping the aforesaid responsibility onto your parents
4. And if not giving up your life, at least putting it on hold.
the lesser known difficulties:
1. The earlier you start being sexually active( and you are that when you get pregnant), the more likely you are to divorce
2. the more likely you are to have an affair while married
3. The more likely you are to live in poverty
4. The more likely your you will be unhappy in marriage
5. Oddly, most people want to marry virgins but dont practice that. You may scare off someone who is a potential spouse but he/she wants to marry a virgin
6. If the couple does marry, they arent going to be able to go out and work. School messes up, you drop out
7. And you are more likely to break up with ur b/gf before the baby or you get married or something along the lines of that.
Hope that this input helped some!
A whole crapload of difficulties.
Wow! That's a tough question! My Mother was 14 when I was born, I'm now 40! I've never met my father although they married before I was born. Without going into too much detail, I'll just say my Mother's life wasn't easy. She was never afforded the opportunity to grow up rather it was thrust upon her! Sometimes I feel we grew up together! There are financial difficulties, social difficulties, and for many the difficulty in finding a partner later in life now that you have this excess baggage. When I was born abortion wasn't an option, nor was continuing your education during your pregnancy and for the most part mom and dad disowned such a girl! Many things have changed since then and yet many of the same stigma and prejudices are still experienced.
her body should eligible for it.
1. no money
2. being picked on
3. strain on the relationship
4. weather or not to give the child up for adoption to keep it.
5. not having a normal teenage life.

Can the IRS split tax rebate checks for seprated couples?
Me and my wife split after we filed taxes together (we received a refund check shortly after we filed). Now are not on speaking terms and headed toward divorce (no divorce has been filed yet).
I will be getting the rebate check at my address with both of our names on it. Is there a way to contact the IRS and ask to send two separate checks, one with my name and one with hers?
If not, what other options do I have? Can the IRS split tax rebate checks for seprated couples?
Nope, one check in both names.
Agree to meet at the bank, she signs, you give her half in cash. Can the IRS split tax rebate checks for seprated couples?
Per IRS website FAQ's (www.irs.gov) here is what the answer is:
Q. My spouse and I have divorced and the Stimulus Payment check is made out to both of us. Can I cash it?
A. If the check is made payable to both of you, then both must endorse the check. Even if you and your spouse are now divorced, both must sign the check. By law, each spouse is considered to receive half of the payment in cases where a joint 2007 return was filed.
If the filers chose to have their tax refund direct deposited, the Stimulus Payment will be direct deposited into the same account that received the tax refund.
A suggested option:
If you still have a joint bank or credit union account deposit the refund there.
I'd even mail it so that some teller doesn't have the opportunity to ask for both signatures. Just put '; for deposit to account #xxxxxxxxx'; in the signature space on the back.
No, there will be one check, with both names, and both of you will have to sign it. I guess you'll just have to bite the bullet and speak again at least to get this signed.
No the check cannot be split. You'll have to split it yourself.sunscreen

I'm sure the question has been asked several times. I know 'Trust' and Compatability are key issues as is attraction of some kind. But is there more required to make it last? How do couples keep love ALIVE, STRONG and DURABLE? Does it take more than trust and attraction?
I feel communication is also a key factor, some couples just don't talk about how they are feeling, they bottle it up, and in allot of cases ends up badly. How do couples keep love ALIVE, STRONG and DURABLE? Does it take more than trust and attraction?
sex, seriously...once you let that go people begin looking elsewhere and that leads to a long chain of bad events..keeping your sex life alive and interesting will help the rest of your relationship..ask any couple who had a divorce and they'll say their sex life was one of the first things to go

Should couples avoid shopping together as it often results in bitter arguments?
So, what do you think?
Just got back from my local town and seen endless couples in various shops arguing about things. Man bored, man sick of looking at new dresses on partner, women thinking man doesn't give a damn, rows about money. Silence over mochas in Starbucks.
So should men and women avoid shopping together?
Or does it work out fine for you?Should couples avoid shopping together as it often results in bitter arguments?
My wife and I stopped shopping together before we got married. It is a major point of frustration for both us so shopping alone helps us stay happy. She is a slow and methodical shopper. I cannot get out of the store fast enough.Should couples avoid shopping together as it often results in bitter arguments?
A partnership requires giving from both parties. Make a compromise and let him go to the automotive section while she heads for shoes. If he'd rather stay home that's fine, but there should not be any problems. My Mum and Dad never have any arguments. If Mum's taking forever Dad will walk to a close store, borrow the car until she's done, or get a magazine. He is very polite and patient.
It's just shopping for heaven's sakes!
Oh please, YES. I have shopped with my wife for 26 years. There has not been a single occasion where hostilities of some kind did not break out. I usually end up waiting outside the store looking after the children. We while away the hours counting people, watching out for Fire Engines and other intresting things. My wife apparently has no sense of time. Once inside the store she is in a different time plane to the rest of us. PLEASE ban this cruel sport.
OMG i never go shopping with my bf...v.dangerous territory! He gets bored....rushes me...doesnt like anything i pick out. And when we shop for him it's usually DIY and takes ages! We always end up having an argument in fact we just got back from shopping. I usually go with my sister or mam instead!
I think some men are good but i have no idea where id get me one of those! ;)
Couples need to talk about the situation before going to town. Why are they going, what to buy, how much to spend. Get a life! These are not couples, these are wanderers in the night ~~~~~~~~~
That depends on the individuals.
Let each couple sort out their own way.

What are the requirements for the Army Married Couples Program?
My husband is currently in the Active Army and I was planning on joining but in the Army Reserve. I heard that the MACP does not work unless we both belong to the Army Reserve or the Active Army...Please tell me how this really works. thanks you! What are the requirements for the Army Married Couples Program?
it is only a program for dual ACTIVE Army. if one of you is in the Reserves it is not an option..since Reservists do NOT generally PCS but the AD one does. What are the requirements for the Army Married Couples Program?
Army requirements and readiness goals are paramount when considering personnel for assignment. Married Army couples desiring joint assignment to establish a common household must request such assignment by enrolling in the MACP. The assignment desires of members married to other military members in order to establish common households will be fully considered. Decisions on family planning, reenlistment, and career development for married Army couples should take into consideration the Army goal of providing all qualified personnel equity in assignment. Married Army couples must be prepared to meet their military obligations regardless of assignment. Favorable consideration for a married Army couple assignment depends on valid requirements for the military skills and grades of both members in one area, career progression of both members not being adversely affected, and the married Army couple is otherwise eligible for the assignment. The needs of the service are the overriding factor when considering a married Army couples assignment. Married Army couples desiring to be considered for worldwide married Army couple assignments (joint assignments) must enroll in the MACP. As an exception, Army soldiers married after 1 October 1985, who enrolled in the married Army couples program, and either member receives Assignment Instructions within 60 days of the marriage, may apply for joint assignment. Enrollment in the MACP provides consideration for married Army couples assignments consistent with valid Army requirements. Consideration is continual. When one member is being considered for reassignment, the other member will be automatically considered for assignment to the same location or area. Assignment instructions for each member will indicate whether or not a joint assignment is approved.
In short, at the needs of the army, you can be stationed together, or not together, and while you MAY be able to do so as reserve/active team, the likeliness is less as your active partner would have to be stationed stateside, since the reserves only going over seas for deployments and TDY. To be guaranteed to be together, I would suggest going active yourself.
I hope this helps.
if your in reserves, you can serve wherever he is stationed @. but you both have to be in the active army for the couples program. you would both be stationed together in the same unit .
it is only a program for dual ACTIVE Army. if one of you is in the Reserves it is not an option..since Reservists do NOT generally PCS but the AD one does.
How do they figure the places of the couples on Dancing with the Stars?
They say it is the judges scores combined with the home audience votes and the couple with the lowest combined score gets eliminated. But how would that be calculated?
Each of the 3 judges gives a score of 1-10 (which is combined for the nights total and counts for half of thier score)
the home viewers call in and the popular vote accounts for the other half of their scoreHow do they figure the places of the couples on Dancing with the Stars?
OK so it depends on how many votes are received
Example: One night, there could be 100,000 votes, so a point could be the equivalent of 10,000 votes.
I.E. 1 point=1/10th of the votessunscreen

What are the major causes of infertility in couples?
Why is it that many couples nowadays are unable to concieve? What are the major causes of infertility in couples?
stress, polution, unsuitablility, bad diets, rubbish technique, bad relationship, dodgey water additives, too much alcohol, drug dependency, inherited disorders, leaving it too late. What are the major causes of infertility in couples?
I think alot of it is stress. People work to damn hard these days, and they have way too much stuff going on. And also I think diet is to blame. People eat too much processed food and drink too much alcohol.
Genes, smoking, drinking, STD's in younger years, previous abortion. There are many reasons, but the one's I've listed are the most common.
Stress. Leads to low sperm count and also loss of interest in sex.
age
In the case of men other women
and in the case of women other men
You might think this is flippant but there are no other reasons
There are many excuses, but that is all they are, in both cases a no can be easily said.
Man - low or inactive sperm
Woman - not producing eggs, damaged womb, blocked fallopian tubes
They don't like having sex?
pocs and been over weight and smoking are all factors
First of all too much tension or thoughts about tension leading to tension.
Too tight under garments especially by gents leading to over heating of the private parts.
Chemicals in out diet from processed food, not enought exercise, smoking, disease.

What is a healthy amount of sex married couples should have?
We have sex about twice a week, maybe 3. Is that normal? What is a healthy amount of sex married couples should have?
You know people go threw times when they have no sex and then they have sex all week. Sometimes you both maybe working hard and need sleep. Others weeks you may feel close to each other and have sex more often. The important part is that you are enjoying your sex life. If you are both happy with your sex life then you are both having a healthy amount of sex. What is a healthy amount of sex married couples should have?
I really don't understand the question. If we'd have said no, 6 times a week is 'normal', does that mean you'd try to have more sex just because we said so???? Or if we said, no once a week is 'normal', you wouldn't have sex as often?
Sounds very weird to me to ask such a question. If you guys are happy doing it so often, who the F cares what 'normal' is??????
I have been married for 10 years, 13 years in all.
My wife and I, and not to brag have sex 5 days out of the week.
Rent some porn! go shopping together at victorias secret!
Most REAL men are definetly not satisfied with 2 times a week.
you guys must be stressed!
This is one of my favorite ';usual'; and frequent questions. Why are the marrieds so interested in how often they c0ckinate?
Its not a competition is it..to see how many lovers or how many times you have sex per week...but is sure seems that way.
Normal is the number half way between the number times you WANT sex and the amount of times you actually HAVE sex. 2-3 times per week is a healthy amount, yes. :)
If you and he are happy sounds good.
I think every marriage is different, who is to say what normal is.
well thats perfectly normal
jack off twice a day for 1 week and have sex with your wife once a month.
Whatever floats your TWO person boat is what is normal for the TWO of you.
That sounds very normal!
yeah 3 or 4 times a week... myabe more if you dont want him watching porn.
Once a month is enuff for me

Do couples who are a match of two different ethnic groups have a higher incidence of miscarriages?
Does this have implications of whether or not evolution is true?Do couples who are a match of two different ethnic groups have a higher incidence of miscarriages?
i doubt it. ethnicity is not very relevant when it comes to conception.Do couples who are a match of two different ethnic groups have a higher incidence of miscarriages?
I don't have scientific data, but my parents are an interracial couple. My father is white and my mother is mexican/latina. She was on birth control when she conceived all three of her babies. My aunt (moms sis) is also married to a white guy and after the fifth baby had her tubes burned to prevent pregnancy( she got pregnant the fifth time and her tubes were tied). I don't know, but maybe fertility is genetic. Most couples that I know who are having problems with conceiving and multiple miscarriages are white.

Is there anywhere you can get free online Couples counseling or does it not exist?
I want and need to keep this relationship good and healthy, but we need to communicate better than we do now.Is there anywhere you can get free online Couples counseling or does it not exist?
call your local civic center. i believe that they have counselors or referrals for you at no cost.Is there anywhere you can get free online Couples counseling or does it not exist?
if its online, do you really think it will work? My suggestion is to find an older couple who has LIVED. A counselor can go to school for it all they want, but it doesn't mean they have the experience. An older couple has no stake in your marriage, therefore they have no reason to take advantage of you during your hardtimes.
Anything worth having for is worth paying for. Psychologists go to school sometimes for 8 years so I doubt they think their advice needs to be free.sunscreen

What are some ideas for some tattoos for couples?
My husband is in the military and we want to get tattoos before he goes overseas. What are some ideas for some tattoos for couples?
Whatever you decide on, never ever get your spouses name tatted on you!!!!!! Kids are ok, but not the spouse.
My hubby and I have matching artwork. It is a dragon, his is on his inside arm and mine is on my calf. I also have one matching one our daughter has, and hubby and daughter also have ones that match.
Think of things you have in common and draw from that. If you have kids you can do something that would match involving the kids names or something.
Good luck. What are some ideas for some tattoos for couples?
i wont suggest u to get his name or for him to get your name.. you should get something that represent him, and he should get somthing that represent you.. to me, its more meaningful.. thats my opinion..
Anything but your names. Unless it is your mutual last name. Getting each other's first names tattooed on each other is pretty much a death wish on your relationship. You have to find a symbol that means something to you both.
You could do a heart with thorns around it with his name in it and then with your name in his tattoo
but it is totally up to you guys and another thing to do is get a tattoo of something that's meaningful to you guys
That is a very very sweet idea. I've always been afraid of the idea of couples getting tattoos because of the permanency of the tattoo and possible non-permanency of some relationships.
Definitely get something that has A LOT of meaning to both of you. Maybe something symbolic of a first date or your wedding. If you have kids, maybe something that has to do with that.
I would suggest against names or initials of the two of you. Something small and personal :)
Hope that helps!
maybe a rose with thorns or something that is really meaningful to the both of you, maybe each others names??!
I agree with not putting each others names on you.. it's such bad luck for ANY relationship. You could get lyrics from your favorite songs, if he is in the Air Force a bird, Navy an anchor etc. Just make it meaningful..
I have heard of like one person has a key, and one has a lock.
I thought that was a cute idea.
My friends have almost matching tribal armbands. Their names are part of the design so you have to know where to look to see it. I think it's neat because it's understated and not just somebodies name on your arm.
don't get them. I'm sorry to say, but a great percentage of the time relationships don't workout..
You'll really regret it if you have something with accordance to him and vice versa if you were to ever breakup.
never get a name tattoo... i actually saw this on a show on mtv, this couple had a saying tattoo'd on their wrist. one person had the 1st part of the sentence and the other had the last part of the sentence. i forgot what it said exactly but it was really sweet and the idea is kinda unique. pick a quote or something that means a lot to the both of you. you both will have seperate parts of a piece that comes together you know what i mean?
get ';thug life'; on your stomach
my husband and I are both getting matching tattoos in intimate locations that read:
friendship, fidelity, love
they're the three most important things in a relationship
My friends have couple tattoos, and thiers are kinda like wedding rings but a tat and in the middle it each other inital. Thay look really good
Before you do that, go to a busy tattoo parlour...
Ask the artist how many cover-ups they do in a week for ex'es.
you can get eachothers names tattoed

What are FACTS of homosexual couple longevity and rate of violence within homosexual couples?
My understanding is that promiscuity, adultery and physical abuse are far higher in the homosexual community, even in countries where same-sex marriage is legal.
Excellent question! What are FACTS of homosexual couple longevity and rate of violence within homosexual couples?
There are none, attempts to suppress such unions and to deny that they could possibly work have prevented any actual research in the matter. As you say I could give you examples of couples I've personally known, but that is a statistically meaningless sample, it's too small. The only way to get actual facts is through observation and experiment, and as long as society refuses to even let them try facts about the nature of same sex marriages will not be available. Assuming that human beings are human beings, however, it is reasonable to extrapolate from heterosexual marriages that lifelong monogamy will be no more successful among same sex couples than opposite sex couples, humans simply don't seem to be monogamous by nature, hence the high degrees of infidelity and divorce. What are FACTS of homosexual couple longevity and rate of violence within homosexual couples?
Ummm...
We all know that there are a ton of straight divorces, and that spousal abuse in straight marriages happens very often. We aren't certain on how often the violence happens, since it isn't always reported.
How many divorces, or how much spousal abuse needs to happen to make straight marriage illegal? Probably a lot, huh?
So you're probably just someone against gay marriage, trying to come up with reasons to be against it.
The facts are that homosexuals are human beings and are no different that heterosexuals. Therefore couple's longevity and violence tendency would depend on individual mentality and behavior, not a group attribute.
Don't know about anyone else, but my partner and I have been happily together for 30 years - more than anyone else in either one of our families - many of whom have divorced multiple times.
There is more violence in homosexual relationships and they break up more often.
Homosexual couples are well out numbered. A fair research has not been conducted. If one is done, then what?
The lawyers a going love the extra income when those gays start devorcing
We probably won't get any of that info until gay 'marriage' is legal.
Those relationships last as long as a tube of KY.
Records are not kept.

Does the peace corps always split up married couples?
My wife and I were recently invited into peace corps service. They said we have different staging dates, and different departure dates. They also said we will live with differenr host families during the 3 month in country training.
We will be separated right from the beginning although, we have been told that married couples go together. Nothing that we are being told now indicates that we are ever together.
so, does the peace corps always split up married couples?Does the peace corps always split up married couples?
Instead of asking on Yahoo Answers, perhaps you should ask this question to the Peace Corps. They would have much better info than a bunch of crazy people in cyberspace. Call your recruiter. Call the DC office. Or talk to the placement office.
Different staging and departure dates? That makes no sense. Groups don't usually travel separately. And staging is done TOGETHER as a group. Are you even going to the same country? Does PC know you are even married? Did you put on your application that you are applying as a married couple? Did you interview together as a couple?
They always place married couples together, although sometimes during training people can be apart. But they still will place you together at your site for the remainder of the two years.
Once again, call Peace Corps to discuss it with them!!!Does the peace corps always split up married couples?
My parents were in the Peace Corps and they were not split up, but that was decades ago.
Maybe that's just for their training, especially if their expertise lies in different fields. From what I've heard, the Peace Corps encourages married couples and tries to keep them together, if possible. If they're contributing drastically different things, it may not be practical/possible for them to work in the same area. That's only what I've heard and that was some years ago. I applied for the Peace Corps after College, I was turned down, my major was Classics (Greek and Roman history, I minored in religion.) Guess they were looking for someone with some more practical knowledge,LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
You are married and should not be separated! Tell them you want to be together, or you will reconsider volunteering your time!

Do couples who go to different colleges break up?
I like a guy in college and it feels like he likes me sometimes, but he has a girlfriend, but they go to different colleges. I dont really want them to break up...okay I do, but do couples in different colleges break up after a while?Do couples who go to different colleges break up?
Yes, or if one stays in highschool and the other goes to college. My boyfriend and I broke up in June before he went to college. It's too hard. There is the thought that they might be cheating and you never get to see them. Things just start to fall apart.Do couples who go to different colleges break up?
some do, some dont. it depends on how much they care about each other and how responsible/mature they are. I know couples who have broken up and some that have gotten engaged and even married despite going to different colleges.
not at all
if the love between the two people is strong, it will definitely stay strong
two of my girlfriends are in relationships with guys who go to different universities, and they're still going strong... 5 years and counting
My boyfriend and i go to different school 2.5 hrs away from each other but like any normal couple we have our highs and lows but were still hanging in with each other cause we know will be getting engaged soon and hes coming to a school near me next year.
not at all.
i'm a high school senior %26amp; my boyfriend's a sophomore.
it's all good.
idk how going to a different school should interfere.
:)
No, if they're commited enough, they'll make it work.
it depends on the people.
some long-distant relationships do last [:
Depends on the couple.

How do you meet new married and pregnant couples when you first move?
I have tried introducing myself to neighborhood people, we are enrolled in childbirth classes, but not local enough to see couples we meet later, and there are no MOM Clubs for me join. How do you meet new married and pregnant couples when you first move?
I had the same problem too! I ended up joining a MOM's Club. You could start your own - that is what the moms did in my town, so it is relatively new. My other suggestion is a website called Meet-up as a way to meet other pregnant moms - you can post a calling for meeting other moms in your area and see who responds. Parks are another great way to meet moms as well. Any support you can get during this time is very helpful - I wished I had joined a club sooner. How do you meet new married and pregnant couples when you first move?
Library.
Go to a Lamaze class
I would suggest hosting a get together. Summer is the perfect time. I would try to invite people over for a BBQ, or backyard party. Then, maybe host a pregnant-woman get together with the women from the childbirth class. You can have all kinds of ';favorite craving'; food and watch movies, or talk about your pregnancy and related issues. Good luck !
Invite them over for BBQ's, go to church, work out in your yard so you see them when they walk by. It's hard to be outgoing in a new community, good luck.
Is there a local pediatrician? Also, churches have records of these things and could tell you.
Playgrounds, or parks are a great place to go...Also if you are religious Sunday School classes or just church in general is a good place to go. Also look for Churches that do ';Mommys day out';. Good Luck and Congrats on the marriage and the up and coming baby!!
Go to church there are a lot of new couples and parents that can help and guide you.

Are couples that make decent wages going to wait to get married?
Think about it: The cut off for higher taxes is 250K. Lets say a couple makes 130K a piece. Would they wait or just continue to file separately? Is that legal if you're married? Are couples that make decent wages going to wait to get married?
Nope. My wife and I are both professionals, above the cutoff, and we both voted for Obama. Best for the country doesn't always mean best for us individually. Are couples that make decent wages going to wait to get married?
If you're married you have to file as married.
You could file as married filing seperatly.
If you file as ';single'; that would be illegal.
So what if they do, it's their choice.sunscreen

What will Obama have to do in order to grant equal federal rights to same-sex couples?
Now that Obama has been elected, and he said he'd like to grant equal rights to same-sex couples that mimic heterosexual couples' ';marriage,'; on a federal level, what is the step-by-step procedure he'll have to take? How long would such a thing take, if at all predictable? What will Obama have to do in order to grant equal federal rights to same-sex couples?
he will give them a certificate
mark kWhat will Obama have to do in order to grant equal federal rights to same-sex couples?
Did you see how same-sex marriage was resoundingly rejected in the last election? It would be political death for Obama to take any action in order to further the gay agenda. All he can do is agree to rubber-stamp whatever pro-gay legislation the Congress puts forward. Even then, it may doom his chances for re-election in 2012. As far as the gay agenda has come, it will never become socially acceptable because the USA is fundamentally a religious nation and religions across the board reject the gay lifestyle. The best gays can hope for is continued ambivelence by the media and a permissive attitude by the citizenry.
he will not do nothing, he will ignore the problem and agree that its a problem with the state, just like he does with everything else, he ignores it and points at the law in that area.
The president does not introduce legislation though he can ask for congress to do so. President Obama has always said that homosexual marriage is a state issue, not a federal one.
He can introduce the bill to Congress - from there, it's any body's guess.
They may start debate immediately or they may go on vacation.........
The federal government has no interest in marriage so hopefully he'll have the sense to leave it alone.
It will be on huge pile of ';to do'; list on his desk

What are possible pros and cons of homosexual couples adopting & raising children?
Can it be healthy for a child's identity?
Why or why not? What are possible pros and cons of homosexual couples adopting %26amp; raising children?
I still don't know what my view on this is. I can sympathize for the couples who want to make a family together, I REALLY can. But at the same time (I know you've heard this) honestly, think about the kid(s). The fun at his/her expense would be never ending. Not only that, but if they did make friends, I'm sure their friends would most likely feel very uncomfortable coming over. I'd imagine a child of homosexual parents would feel very alone and unaccepted. Homosexuality itself will never be completely accepted by society. As for the child's identity; like I said. Alone. Unaccepted. And then at the same time they'd be adopted, that has an effect on children also. I suppose that's a bit irrelevant but I'm sure you can see that it tends to take a toll on any child's identity. The only pros I can think of are a child having a good acceptance and understanding of homosexuality and the parents being satisfied. But the cons outweigh the pros here a lot. Unfortunately homosexual adoption tends to take a very negative toll on a child's identy and it's mostly because of the rest of society. I'm sure that there are many wonderful children out there that would love their parents and be strong enough to go through life with people constantly having terrible things to say to them, but who wants that for their child? Even if they can handle it? Like I said. I still can't decide what I really think about this. I just know that in most cases, this is a very bad thing for a child to have to live with. I have nothing wrong with homosexuality. Nothing at all. But a lot of society does, and there's basically not a lot that can be done for that.
-SkylarWhat are possible pros and cons of homosexual couples adopting %26amp; raising children?
There really aren't any cons. Fears surrounding this subject are often unfounded and unsupported by research. A 2002 study found that an overwhelming percentage of children growing up in a household with homosexual parents were heterosexual. A study conducted in 2006 found that the mental health of children raised by same-sex parents was no different than that of children raised by opposite sex parents and a 1992 study found that children with homosexual parents had about the same quality of peer relationships as children with heterosexual parents.
I imagine that it is just fine. It certainly has to be better than not being adopted by anyone, and I've found nothing that convinced me that homosexual couples as a whole are worse than heterosexual couples as a whole. I've met a few people raised by homosexual couples, and the main difference is that they tend to be much more accepting of homosexuals in society. This is only a bad thing if you think homosexuals are bad people. And having homosexual adoptive parents does not turn children into homosexuals. None of the folk I met were homosexuals, in fact.
The main likely problem is that the kid might get teased for having two dads or something, but that is no reason not to adopt.
really isn't a philosophical question. at least not in your phrasing.
but in the simplest sense.
there are no real cons to homosexual couples adopting childeren. unless you have a bias, fear, or revulsion towards gay people.
studies show, exposure to gay people, in terms of role models, or parental figures doesn't increase or ';make'; anyone gay.
and aside from that ridiculous fear... it's simply a matter of the caliber of the people choosing to raise a child.
i'd argue, that if a couple, regardless of gender/sexual dynamics, is loving, and able to provide for a child, then they'd make decent enough parents.
pros. specifically to being raised by a homosexual couple.
exposure to a different lifestyle. tolerance, and open minded life experience.
con would be... exposure to intolerance, hatred and bigotry against homosexual people, teasing and ridicule based on people's perception of homosexuals etc.
but again. almost all of that has nothing to do with parenting, and everything to do with social perception of gay people. and even the aspects of being gay have nothing to do with being good parents.
now... if you're asking a metaphysical question, of what constitutes a family, or the nature of masculine, or feminine influences withing a homosexual paring, and the impact on a child... ie. having two mommy's or two daddy's or whatever. i can't speak to that.
but i would say... the at it's purest level. Adoption is about love. and there are plenty of childeren in the foster system, so any couple, ...capable to support a child, and willing to extend love and caring toward them... would probably make decent parents.
now...add in religious nuttiness, or bias against gay peope and the door is wide open to interpretation.
i can't speak to that either... i mean someone's beliefs, are their beliefs, regardless of how much hatred or bias may permeate them. but... as a simple matter. it's pretty clean cut.
the reality is, there's still an awful lot of fear, and squeamishness in our culture about anything that isn't the norm. and that extends into institutionalized discrimination against gay folks, where adoption is concerned in some areas.
the bigger question is. what things make good parents? and then asking if that list can be met by a gay couple. i'd challenge anyone to offer up something that couldn't.
people sometimes throw out the ';traditional family values'; thing. which is laughable at best. for the last 50 years, the american nuclear family myth has been in decline. And the puritan ideal of marriage and family life is sad and tired.(women's lib, dual working parents, single parenthood, single fathers, it takes a village, high divorce rates, multiple marriages etc etc etc) The breadth of humanity and inclusion of culture render such outmoded ideals as silly at best, and shockingly delusional in the face of the true nature of the world.
PRO's : though I don't really see any other than the tired line of better than not being adopted (We should bring back orphanages instead of foster care). I am willing to be better informed.
CONS: Tons
children in homosexual households grow up without experiencing first-hand three of the most important relationships required for social development-husband/wife, mother/father and male/female
The probability of violence occurring in a gay couple is mathematically double the probability of that in a heterosexual couple,'; write activists with the NATIONAL GAY AND LESBIAN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSOCIATION..
Several published studies show that children raised in homosexual households do not fair as well as those raised in traditional family environments. An April 2001 report published in AMERICAN SOCIOLOGICAL REVIEW found that children of gay couples were more likely to be confused about their own sexual identity, more likely to engage in homosexual relationships and more likely to be promiscuous.
The JOURNAL OF AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
reports that ';people with same-sex sexual behavior are at greater risk for psychiatric disorders'; - including bipolar, obsessive-compulsive, and anxiety disorders, major depression, and substance abuse.
The MEDICAL INSTITUTE OF SEXUAL HEALTH reports: ';Homosexual men are at significantly increased risk of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, anal cancer, gonorrhea and gastrointestinal infections as a result of their sexual practices. Women who have sex with women are at significantly increased risk of bacterial vaginosis, breast cancer and ovarian cancer than are heterosexual women.';
Should children be handed over as trophies to the homosexual ';rights'; movement - adopting them into households where they'll face dramatically higher risk of exposure to domestic violence, mental illness, life-threatening disease and premature death? An environment which increases the chances they'll engage in high risk homosexual behavior themselves?
Not on your life. And certainly not theirs.
I cannot see any ';pros'; to this.
The ';cons'; are too many to list completely, but the biggie for me is the degradation of the traditional family lifestyle and its moral, social, and economic impact on our culture.
No pros. You need a man and a woman to raise the family. The kid will grow up confused or lustful. I have no problem with a single parent raising a kid if it needs to be done.
Perverts are spreading HIV all over the country. They are guilty of killing children who get HIV tainted blood transfusions etc. Perverts should be banished to a remote island like Leapers were, so we can save the planet.
There are no pros. Homosexuality is mental illness and needs to be treated as such, not flaunted as something legitimate. No child deserves a fate like that.
I would hate to be one raise by two homosexuals, this is the cons. As for the pros out of honesty I don't see a single positive reason.
The greatest Pro would be to teach children that Gays are just people who are genetically predisposed to homosexuality and not perverts.
The greatest Con would be to possibly impress on the child that homosexuality is the only way to live.
The Pros:
Good supportive nurturing environment where generic social choices are explained.
The Cons:
Influencing or validating children to become homosexual adults like them self.

What's the average percentage of high school couples that wind up lasting through matrimony?
Forming trend lines and no good sources on web found so far. What's the average percentage of high school couples that wind up lasting through matrimony?
I would say 5%... I'm with my high school sweetheart still, so it happens !!What's the average percentage of high school couples that wind up lasting through matrimony?
Although the marriage rate in the United States flirts with an all-time low, and ceases to increase, I've dug up some information that lists somewhere around 20% (closer to 15%) of couples who actually marry their high school boyfriend or girlfriend. I am living proof of this since I鈥檝e been married twice, divorced twice and am single under 40. The best advice I can give (and I鈥檓 certain that most couples that have been together will agree) is to keep the door of communication open, take some alone time together, possibly a weekend getaway (an out-of-town hotel is inexpensive), and be truthful with one another. Many wishes to you, and my best to your future!
50-60% get divorced. 89% of those divorces occur within 15 years, but the average time length for getting divorced, including all ages, is 7 years. So, it's not as big of a difference as people think.
Best I can do is make a wild guess.
25%? I mean, I do know SOME that have lasted and are happy.
Good question though. If you find solid statistics I'd like to see them.
100% obviously
Well, I am married to my high school sweetie. So........ I guess for me anyway its 100%
Lasting through marriage till death??
I would say less that 5%
0.1%
very slim.
probbs about 5%
such a nice question!
i'd say 10%...wild guess

Can California Landlords refuse to rent to married couples?
My husband and I have been looking at single/studio apartments in the West LA/Santa Monica area because one bedroom aptartments are too expensive, and landlords say that they will not rent to two people. Is this legal? Can California Landlords refuse to rent to married couples?
No, it is not legal, unless the building is owner-occupied and has 4 units or less. Small owner-occupied properties are allowed some wiggle room on anti-discrimination laws but everyone else MUST comply with the law.Can California Landlords refuse to rent to married couples?
TFTP
most apartment complexes will not rent to more than 1 person for a studio apartment. some might make an exception for a married couple but they are within their rights to refuse to rent to more than 1 person. maybe the apartment does not have a certifcate of occupancy for more than 1 person.
Sounds like discrimination, but maybe there is a loophole there somewhere in the law.
I think bostonian is right....check The Fair Housing Act...
Yes
It may not be illegal. Most states have statutes that prohibit how many people can live in a unit...depending on its size. Check your local statutes.

How do I find a chat room for couples?
My wife and I would like to chat with other couples around the world and create an online friendship. How do I find a chat room for couples?
go to www.talkcity.com, they have all kinds of roomsHow do I find a chat room for couples?
There are lots of chatrooms for couples, it is really according to what kind of chat you are looking for...but you can do a yahoo search and find them....just look around there's plenty out there, but becareful and have fun.
There are perverts in chatrooms.
Just right chat in yahoo search it will give you thousand address
You can try Yahoo!Chats!! Just sign into Yahoo!Messenger, and click the messenger tab, and then click Join Room. Then just pick whatever room you would like to go in. They even have some rooms where you can chat as a couple.
Why? It seems that most people out there just wanna screw around and cheat on someone or wreck someone else's relationship. Even the ones who swear they're going strong and would never get caught up in that.
Trust me - it's a bad idea.
Yahoo! offers chat rooms. There are all sorts.
beats me
Go to PAL TALK.com....get logged in there...then find a chat room...or make your own. These are excellent ...no trash like the regular Yahoo Chat rooms.
try plentyoffish.com
