Does the Navy keep married couples together if one is a civilian?

Son's girlfriend has told him if they marry she will be able to request duty near him, in AZ. Sounds like a ploy to avoid carrier duty or duty overseas. He isn't asking enough questions.Does the Navy keep married couples together if one is a civilian?
The civilian will have to move to the service member. Plain and simple, my husband has been in the Marines for 15 years. - And she won't be able to avoid carrier duty or over seas duty if she gets orders.Does the Navy keep married couples together if one is a civilian?
She can request anything she desires, but the bottom line is the Navy is going to send her where they want her to be, and if she gets orders to a ship that deploys for six or more months at a time, or unaccompanied orders overseas, her beau isn't going to be able to go with her. I was Navy, my husband was Marine Corps, and my son is now in the Army. I am pretty sure I know what I am talking about. The Navy doesn't care who she lives with, if they want to send her overseas or out to sea, she will go.
The person in the Navy can request any post he/she wants and is qualified to do, but its up to the Navy where they end up, and being married is only a small (VERY SMALL) consideration in the overall decision. If this is a pressure play to get married. She may be attempting to get pregnant quickly to avoid some detail, but it can and more than likely will backfire if she stays in the Navy up to a year after the birth of the child... She will eventually be deployed... Unless she is like a rabbit and stays pregnant... then she is not long for the NAVY...
If they get married, they will send her where they want to send her....what the marriage will allow is for her to live off base,or on base with him, wherever she is stationed...and the navy will pay for ';them'; to move....but no she cannot say she will be moved near HIM....it gives them the option to live together, wherever she is stationed....however they will still send her on carrier duty or duty overseas if they so choose....just like any other branch....theyll let you live together unless your deployed so long as your married.however when she is gone on carrier duty they will still recieve BAH (money for housing if they are off base) or he will be able to stay on their base housing. but no she cant just choose to move near him.

Not to mention shell have to stay on a naval base,...they dont have one in az...so if shes stationed ';near'; him itd still be probably be in San Diego.
the only time my family and i were separated was when i was underway.
