When do most couples start to live together? When they're bf/gf, when they're engaged, or after marriage?

That is entirely dependent upon when the individual couple decides that they are ready to cohabitate. My boyfriend and I decided to move in together less than one year of dating.


Some couples wait until they are married.


My grandfather was with a woman for about 50 years and they never lived together.


It just depends on how certain you are that you are serious about your partner, and when you decide that you know them well enoug hto be able to spend all of your time with them without being annoyed or hurt.


It totally differs from couple to couple. There is no median time range for this, or average time range. It just depends.


If I were with a guy for about 3 years and he hadn't asked me to move in with him, I would probably start to question his intentions. But that's just me. Everyone is different.When do most couples start to live together? Where do they start to live together?
It totally depends on the situation. i moved in with my ex in his house as that was closer to my new job. We bought our house about 6 months later. We never married as I do not believe marriage is a requirement, it is a choice.





I moved in with my husband very early on in our relationship. This was totally for practical reasons. Long long story. We lived there together for two years and a bit. Whilst there we were married (still not believe it is a requirement, but I wanted to marry this man, just one of those changes of heart). We since bought our house and moved into that.





In both cases the house was in both our names and 50/50 in shares. I would never agree to my husband purchasing a house for us and be the only one on the deed.
first long term relationship (no marriage), I moved in with my GF after a yr. Kept a bachelor pad tho. Good thing to after we spit up 18 mos later





My now-wife moved in 3 months after we met, which in retrospect a bit too quick. We lived together for 3 more mos before I proposed and were married 11 months after that.
It depends on the people....Some wait until marriage some do it before. Most people don't move in together until they can afford to get their own place, rather than live with one or the others parents....

I WOULD MOVE IN BEFORE YOU MARRY.TEST DRIVE IT,MAKE SURE YOU CAN STAND EACH OTHERS HABITS AND ROUTINES.
